Lindelani Xaba

Lindelani Xaba holds a Bachelor of commerce in Accounting degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is the current Accounting Tutor at BTI. His reasons for joining the organisation was because he shared the same vision as BTI, which is to assist students in understanding and learning Accounting. He wants to help learners to become independent learners.

Mandisa Mbokazi

Mandisa Mbokazi is a final year Bsc electronic engineering student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is the current tutor for Physics at BTI. Mandisa shares that she joined the BTI team to inspire and motivate students that no matter where you come from you can achieve your dreams.

Ntokozo Mdletshe

Ntokozo Mdletshe is currently pursuing a Bachelor of science honours in Statistics at UKZN. Ntokozo is the current Mathematics Literacy tutor for BTI. She joined BTI because she loves helping leaners achieve their academic goals and guiding them through their academic struggles. Ntokozo shares that since high school, she’s loved and understood mathematics. She has worked as a high school and university tutor for 2 years and with that, she believes that she is more than equipped to be part of the BTI team during this years winter programme.

Siboniso Khumalo

Siboniso Khumalo holds a degree in Land Surveying. Sboniso is the current Mathematics tutor at BTI and he shares that in grade 12, he
attended a spring camp called The Excellence Project which was almost the same as BTI. The Excellence Project was very effective in helping him improve his marks. The reason why he joined BTI was to assist grade 12s to also improve their marks.

Slindile Majola

Slindile Majola is a UCT graduate, currently pursuing studies in the Healthcare Sector at UKZN. She is the current Life Sciences Tutor at BTI. Slindile shares that she joined BTI to be a tangible representation to young girls, to show them that it is possible to dream big and achieve big dreams no matter where you come from.

Thobekile Nxumalo

Thobekile Nxumalo is a Master’s candidate in Data Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She holds a BSc degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and a BSc honours degree in Statistics. She is the current tutor for Mathematics Literacy at BTI. She believes that working at BTI is all about giving back to disadvantaged communities since she also grew up in the rural areas and knows the challenges faced by students in such areas.

Wendy Mkhwanazi

Wendy Mkhwanazi holds a Bachelor of Science degree majored in Microbiology and Biochemistry and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in the Health Sciences.
She is the current chemistry tutor at BTI and has always believed that in South Africa the root of majority of problems is the lack of education. She joined the BTI program because it will give her an opportunity to engage with youth from disadvantaged and rural backgrounds with the objective of enabling them to gain education, and build scientific background.
